Rikard Friberg von Sydow is researcher and archivist living in Uppsala, Sweden, who has been active as a composer and sound artist in different forms and constellations since the
mid-nineties. His main instrument is the Melodica, but most of his work today is performed digitally using a Linux based environment and the digital audio workstation LMMS. As an
artist Rikard tries to navigate between the serious and the naive and finds most of his inspiration in stories of madness and the fantastical. Most of his work, performed under
the handle rikardfvs, can be found on Soundcloud, Youtube and TikTok and on various smaller Bandcamp-labels.
