Andrea Gava (also known as Andreij Rublev), born in Conegliano, Italy, is a musician, composer, performer, producer and sound designer. Andrea worked in theatres, leading workshops in high schools and creating soundtracks for theatre plays, documentaries and short films. He also took part in Venice ́s Biennale as a performer for many international artists. During the last years Andrea’s work focused on electroacoustic music and improvisation techniques,both on his own and with other projects (Le Trou Electronique, Parallel, Foresto Est, Funkhaus Heiner Müller, etc). His work focuses on the unexpected, on improvisation techniques, on the musical value of broken instruments, on the relationship between man and machine, between presence and absence. Beside his activity as a performer on stage, he works as an online content creator with the aim to create informative contents on contemporary and research music, connecting artists and audience through talks, listening sessions, collaborative projects, performances and much more.
